چکیده
The prospects of processing blast furnace and steelmaking sludge using the Waelz process in a laboratory rotary kiln, is shown. influence different temperatures, atmosphere type reducing agents on level zinc reduction from sludges was analyzed. In general, contains high portion iron (approx. 48 wt.%) can be reused as charge after satisfactory reduction. It found that N- content graphite or coke oven agent combination with temperature reduce Zn to 0.08 wt.% at 1200 °C for mixture sludge. A significant 0.66 occurs 1100 °C. plays an important role; has shown better ability compared dust. When nitrogen used, reduced even without additional agent, since carbon contained made use air atmosphere, there no content.

Adsorption of Organic Acids on Blast Furnace Sludge
This paper describes the adsorption of two organic (acetic and citric) acids on the blast furnace sludge, a representative by-product of the steelmaking industry. By PIXE, XRD, BET and SEM methods, it was shown that blast furnace sludge is a complex heterogeneous material with a specific surface area of s = 31.46 m g, composed mainly of amorphous phase (w = 76.2 %), calcite (w = 9.9 %), magneti...
متن کاملKinetic Aspects of Methylene Blue Adsorption on Blast Furnace Sludge
In the global steel industry, more than 400 kg of solid byproduct is generated per ton of steel produced. Most of this by-product (70–80 %) is in the form of slag, which is used largely in the cement industry and for road and civil construction. The remaining solid by-products can be classified as dusts, sludge and oily/non-oily mill scale. Traditionally, the majority of generated dust, sludge ...
متن کاملInfluence of the Moisture Content on the Flowability of Blast Furnace Dust
In this paper the influence of the moisture content on the flow characteristics of blast furnace dust is investigated. The flowability of granular material is essential for the design and operation of dust separators, transport equipment and storage silos. Two blast furnace dust samples from different blast furnaces were investigated. The moisture content was adapted for measurement with the sh...
